A new version of SynCE is finally out, after roughly a years wait!

This is the first version that supports Windows Mobile 5 out of the box!

Debian packages will be provided soon, and should be uploaded into Debian soon too.

Hi Jonny,

I'm trying to get your debian repository to work to install synce. I have "deb http://jonnylamb.com/debian ./" in my sources.list and synaptic will find the list of packages. But when I go to install them, synaptic can't find the individual packages; I get "W: Failed to fetch http://jonnylamb.com/debian/debian//libsynce00.10.0-1i386.deb 404 Not Found"

Any clue? Thanks!

Thanks for spotting that problem. Refresh the package list and try installing again -- it should work now.

deb http://jonnylamb.com/debian ./

works for me. Make sure you apt-get update after updating your sources.list.

Hi Jonny,

When I do "m-a a-i usb-rndis", I get an erro

"Build of the package usb-rndis-source failed!"

The log states:

debian/rules:3: /usr/share/cdbs/1/rules/buildcore.mk: No such file or directory

debian/rules:4: /usr/share/cdbs/1/rules/debhelper.mk: No such file or directory
hostname: Unknown host

make: * No rule to make target '/usr/share/cdbs/1/rules/debhelper.mk'.
Stop.

Any clue thanx Kris

Got it working by apt-get install cdbs

Everything is working fine, now. I was entering the infos wrongly in Synaptic ( placed debian/ as distribution instead of ./).

Everything is working fine except when I try to configure the syncro settings : every time I try to check Appointment, Contact or Task, a pop-up windows open sayin : Wrong library type for Appointment (or Task or Contact, depending). I am using Debian unstable with KDE 3.5.7

Thank you for your help
