I am a student studying Computer Science at Durham University. I previously studied at The King’s School, Ely and left in July 2007. Outside of term times, I live near Cambridge, in the United Kingdom.

My main interests lie with computing and music. I am a keen fan of free and open source software. I am a developer of SynCE and Bongo. I intend to become a Debian developer in the future. I have contributed smaller patches to other projects, such as WordPress.

I am a very enthusiastic Linux user. I have run Debian GNU/Linux all throughout my computer history in some form or other, I currently have numerous machines running unstable and two servers running stable (Etch).

Music is also a great love of mine. I play the violin and viola and enjoy playing with others, especially in chamber ensembles. I attended Pro Corda from the age of eleven and have attended over ten courses. I was the leader of both my school symphony and string orchestras.
